Beverlee A. Vanzini, 86 of Wayne, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026.
Born the eldest of two children to Seeley and Lillian Kellogg, Beverlee grew up alongside her younger sister Laurel in Danbury, Connecticut where she graduated from Danbury High School. Shortly after, she met Louis Vanzini and the two married and moved around before settling in Packanack Lake, Wayne, New Jersey, where they raised their family.
Shortly after moving to Packanack Lake, Beverlee was blessed with her two sons Mark and Matt. Alongside raising her two boys, she was an active member of the Packanack Lake Tennis Club and participated in the Packanack Lake Theater Club, pursuits that remained close to her heart throughout her years there.
When her sons were grown, Beverlee moved down to Palm Coast, Florida where she took on an interior design position and discovered her natural talent for it. While in Florida, she continued to enjoy tennis and theater and her lifelong habit of reading, with romantic novels being her favorite genre. When her family expanded with the arrival of her three grandchildren, she returned north to be closer to them. She worked in retail, specializing in jewelry, and enjoyed her time spent being present for her grandchildren’s numerous activities and playing board games like Scrabble and Monopoly which were her favorites.
Sharp and quick-witted, Beverlee loved to watch and participate alongside the contestants of the nightly episodes of Jeopardy that left others encouraging her to sign up and compete live. She also enjoyed dancing throughout her life and loved finding moments to be silly and make others laugh. She will be dearly missed.
Beverlee is survived by her two sons: Mark and his wife Lisa Vanzini, and Matt and his wife Jane Vanzini; her sister Laurel and her husband Charles Malvezzi; her three grandchildren: Julia, Louis, and Christian; and her niece and nephew: Chloe and Brett.
