George Riggiola, Age 96, of Paterson passed away on June 2nd.
George was born in Paterson to Anthony and Adelina. He went to Central High School in Paterson. He has a BS from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
He is pre-deceased by his parents and his 7 siblings. Angie, Carmela, Florence, Helen, Joey and Jean. He took care of his parents until their passing. He is survived by his 9 nieces and nephews. George was the last surviving member of his family that immigrated here from Italy 120 years ago.
He was a long-time employee of the Meadowlands Racetrack. He also worked at Martucci’s Pharmacy in Paterson.
George enjoyed trading on the stock market. He loved to Travel.
