Jose A. Velazquez Jr., 55, of Wayne passed on Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026 with his family by his side.
Beloved son of Maria Carmona and Jose A. Velazquez Sr. A vibrant, devoted husband and father, Jose will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sol Velazquez and children Joseph, James, Amberley, Micah and Eli. He will also be warmly remembered by his siblings, nieces, nephews and the many lives he touched along the way.
Jose’s story will be remembered as one of someone who is selfless. Helping others was never something he did for recognition; it was simply who he was. He gave freely of his time, his wisdom, and his heart. For those he mentored, his guidance and encouragement will remain a lasting part of their lives. Above all, Jose was devoted to his children and wife, finding the greatest pleasures in life in the time he spent with his family.
Jose leaves behind more than memories. He leaves behind lessons, laughter, and stories. His kindness will be carried forward by his children, his family, his friends, and everyone whose life he touched. While he will be deeply missed, the love he gave so freely will continue to live on through those who knew him.
