June E. Kreutz (nee Rupp), age 93, of Goshen, NY, formerly of Wayne, NJ and Lords Valley, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 while receiving the loving care of her family.

June was born in Orange, NJ and raised in East Orange and Glen Ridge, before getting married and moving to Totowa, then ultimately settling in Wayne to raise a family.

June worked at the General Electric Company in Bloomfield, NJ after high school. It was there that she was spotted by a young man named Bob, who one day asked her to lunch. She turned him down because she had a liverwurst sandwich of her own, later accepting his offer to go on a date. Their first date was at Schums Restaurant in Bloomfield, NJ. They married in 1953 and enjoyed fifty-five years of loving marriage before Bob’s passing in July, 2008.

After staying home to raise three children, June returned to the workforce, as a secretary and bookkeeper, working with Bob at Welter & Kreutz Printing Co. After retiring in 1996, they moved to Lords Valley, PA and also spent winters snow-birding in Florida in their RV. After Bobs passing, June moved to the Glen Arden continuing care retirement community, in Goshen, NY.

She is a former member of the Wayne Presbyterian Church, Wayne, NJ, The Church at Hemlock Farms in Lords Valley, PA and attended The First Presbyterian Church of Goshen, NY.

June and Bob enjoyed RV’ing with their long time cherished friends, Janet & George Franks. They have traveled to every state in our country and even RV’d through the Copper Canyon in Mexico.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Robert P. Kreutz, her sister Lucille Hammer and Lucille’s husband Leroy. June is the loving mother of Lynne Kreutz-Stewart and her husband Bill of Middletown, NY, Barry Kreutz and his wife Jenny of West Milford and Bob Kreutz and his wife Marie of Ringwood; cherished grandmother of Joshua (Kelly), Katie (Tim), Corey (Ariana), Alexandra, Marcus and Zariyah Kreutz, and Rob (Kerry) and Sean (Stephanie) Stewart. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Wayne Memorial First Aid Squad, PO Box 2004, Wayne, NJ 07474, where Bob was a member for over 20 years.
